Tumour size
The longest primary tumour
diameter was extracted in the majority of the cases (71%) from the pathology
report, and if not specified in the pathology report, from the surgery or
mammography report. Measurement of tumor size was generally done according to
the TNM recommendations (1), and only the size of the invasive component was
recorded.

0.1-0.5 cm
0.6-1.0 cm
1.1-2.0 cm
2.1-5.0 cm
>5.0 cm
and, in addition,
0.1-1.0 cm
> 1.0 cm
0.1-2.0 cm
>20 mm
not available = missing data or size could not be assessed
